Thorned Sky Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This huge leaf succulent grows up to 166 feet (50.6 meters) tall. The fan-like stem is orange, and is covered in large amounts of rigid cyan spines. The toothed-edged, very narrow and elongated leaves are either grey or brilliant blue, with brown lines. Thick bunches of them grow from the base in a symmetrical pattern. The leaves are flexible, but do not detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with petals that are sky blue in the center, bronze in the middle and blood red at the edges grow at the top, reappearing after 2 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like something putrid.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the lime flesh is soft, and the beige sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.

It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
It is suitable for making paper
