Silverberry

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 5 feet (1.5 meters)0.

It takes 4 months for the gold stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The 7 pointed, sticky leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either purple, or grey with pink lines, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces lots of giant silver flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of tiny berries.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It can survive a long time without water.
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
