Emerald

This gray moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In rainy mountain ranges, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is slightly robust.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
