Golden Petal

This enormous flower grows up to 9.7 feet (2.9 meters) tall. Its brown stem is very thick, and the huge, emerald leaves are broad, flat with irregular edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Two medium-sized flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 30 cm (11.8 inches) wide, with petals that are brown in the center, gold in the middle and light grey at the edges. The flower head is made up of 10 petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has a weak scent that smells like sugar, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
