Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized flower grows up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. Its lime green stem is very thick, and the huge, hazel and muted green leaves are dark green on the underside and are long, narrow with irregular edges. 2 leaves grow at the base of the stem.
Two small flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 42 cm (16.5 inches) wide, with petals that are amber on the underside and blood red on the top. The flower head is made up of 34 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight heart. They are sturdy.
It has a fairly strong scent that smells like faeces, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
