Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This colossal flower grows up to 10.8 feet (3.3 meters) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is very thick and splits into 8 branching stems halfway up, and the giant, orange leaves are dark orange-yellow on the underside and are heart-shaped with ripped edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.
Each stem splits 2 to 5 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 48 cm (18.9 inches) wide, with petals that are gold at the sides and beige at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. They are hardy.
It has a delicate scent that smells like skunk spray, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
