Copper

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This small caudiciform grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is brown, and is covered in sharp spines. It has a straight, round, florescent green trunk atop a thick tripod of wrinkled, exposed roots. The branches are wide and green and trail down to the ground.

The tattered-edged, spear shaped leaves are drab red on the sides and orange at the center. They are light, but easily come away when pulled.

It is slow growing, taking 30 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with copper petals on the lower layer and lilac petals decorated with silver dots on the inner layer. The central disk is cyan grows at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like grass cuttings.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the slate flesh is smooth, and the slate sap is thin.
