Crimson Climber

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 49 feet (14.9 meters) and growing as high as 630 feet (192.0 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 14 months for the brilliant yellow and dark brown stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The broad, flat, leathery leaves reach up to 7 inches (18 cm) in length. They are pink on the sides and crimson at the center, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many colossal peach flowers.
