Goldenreed

This average-sized, gold or light green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 6 pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, silver spikelet.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
