Copper

This small caudiciform grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The wide stem is orange or hazel, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible hazel spines. The bulbous, dark grey trunk can grow to as much as 12 feet (3.7 meters) in diameter. Its copper and yellow branches trail down towards the ground.

The toothed-edged, needle-like leaves are peach on the edges and azure at the center. They are strong, but detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with black petals and a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of several widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like rich perfume.

The caudiciform's skin is extremely thick, the indigo flesh is waxy, and the brown sap is thin.
