Silverbell

Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This large caudiciform grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall. The thick stem is silver, and is covered in thousands of flexible lilac spines. The curved, light grey trunk can grow to as much as 13 feet (4.0 meters) in diameter at the top. Its silver branches trail down across the ground and start growing a quarter of the way up the stem.

The large amounts of tattered-edged, wispy leaves are solid intense red or grey, with cream streaks. They are tough, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid bronze petals decorated with intense red lines and a brown central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 25 petals. It has a soft scent that smells like vomit.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the crimson flesh is rubbery, and the black sap is thin.
