Orange Moss

This orange moss is commonly found blanketing large areas In moorlands.
It is big, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is extremely resistant.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
