Golden Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In moorlands.
It is giant, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release dozens of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
