Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 991 feet (302.1 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 2 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.

The 7 pointed, waxy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are blue and ashy blue, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many balls of small gentle red flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces excessive amounts of large seed pods.


The leaves are bland but very healthy.
It blooms only at night.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
