Coppergrass

This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thick clumps that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, copper tuft.

During the late summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.
