Ropevine

This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters) and growing as high as 114 feet (34.7 meters).

It takes 3 months for the slate stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The very thin, smooth leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either gold, or sky blue with beige edges, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of small cream flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces plenty of small berries.
