Emerald Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This modest-sized, emerald grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The slender, pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, slate flower.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of small grains.

It can grow in even the most barren lands.
