Emerald

This lime green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainforests, and In marshes.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is slightly resilient.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
