Blueleaf Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large tree grows up to 74 meters (242.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 345 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a thick, wavy trunk covered in delicate, ridged, gray bark, and inside, the flexible wood is pale brown-grey.

The small bunches of branches are very short and thick and are covered with copious amounts of fuzzy, huge, crescent-shaped leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are blue on the sides and aquamarine at the center.

In late summer it forms tiny, black seed pods.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
