Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In marshes, and On rotten logs.
It is massive, growing up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely delicate.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
