Emerald Marsh Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In marshes.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is very tough; it can easily endure being trodden on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
