Violet

This big bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 371 feet (113.1 meters) and growing as high as 24 feet (7.3 meters).

It takes 23 months for the cream and bright green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 7 inches (18 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The thick, smooth leaves reach up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) in length. They are violet and cream, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of average bronze flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of large fruits.
