Aquamarine Starburst

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is red, and is covered in lots of flexible grey spines. The finger-like leaves are generally aquamarine. Large amounts of them grow on narrow, gray-green branches that are short and thick. The leaves are fairly frail, and easily come away when pulled.

It is quick growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with alternating petals of caramel and silver, with a silver central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 7 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a star with 8 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a soft scent that smells like cotton.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the lilac flesh is smooth, and the grey sap is thin.

It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
