Redgrass

This large, yellow-green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in sparse patches that are resistant and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, washed-out red tuft.

During the early summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
