Pinkvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 46 feet (14.0 meters) and growing as high as 646 feet (196.9 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 4 years for the pink or turquoise stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The asymmetrical, smooth leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are pink at the bottom and turquoise with ashy green patches at the top, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of large azure flowers.


It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
