Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This enormous bine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 566 feet (172.5 meters) and growing as high as 848 feet (258.5 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 9 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2.3 feet (69 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The fan-like, soft leaves reach up to 2.1 feet (64 cm) in length. They are gentle green with pink tips, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces several colossal bright green flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of large berries.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
