Turquoise

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 751 feet (228.9 meters).

It takes 2 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.

The needle-like, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are turquoise and purple, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of average red flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of large berries.
