Copperflower

This big flower grows up to 6.2 feet (1.9 meters) tall. Its moss green stem is very thick and straight with a curved tip, and the small, gray-green leaves are thick with toothed edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single large flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 70 cm (27.6 inches) wide, with petals that are copper on the edges and dark grey at the center. The flower head is made up of 7 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. They are hardy.

It has a powerful scent that smells like vanilla, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.
