Lilacgrass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This small, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in small clumps that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, lilac flower.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of small grains.

It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
