Cyan Needlegrass

This small, gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, cyan flower.

During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.
