Boggy Emerald Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is overwhelmingly resistant.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release dozens of spores.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
