Caramelactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This small cactus grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The thin stem is yellow, and is covered in thick sheets of rigid blue spines. The round body is burgundy, and is covered in hundreds of rigid slate spines.

It is quick growing, taking 4 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with slate petals and a caramel central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 56 curved petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like sweat.

The cactus's skin is thin, the light brown flesh is rubbery, and the cyan sap is thin.
