Magenta Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 38 feet (11.6 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stem is hazel, and is covered in lots of rigid black spines. The rounded leaves are either magenta or crimson, with brown patches. Sparse amounts of them grow on wide, moss green branches that are short and thin. The leaves are tough, but are very difficult to pull away.

It is steady-growing, taking 21 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid bold green petals decorated with grey dots and a silver central disk, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a cup made up of 11 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a weak scent that smells like onion.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the turquoise flesh is smooth, and the copper sap is thin.
