Aquamarine

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 13 feet (4.0 meters) tall. The thick stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in thousands of flexible aquamarine spines. The ripped-edged, fan-like leaves are solid sky blue with brown streaks. Small amounts of them grow from the base in a spiral pattern. The leaves are flexible, but easily come away when pulled.

It is slow growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with lime petals that gradient shift to dark grey on the outer edge. The central disk is indigo, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with dozens of tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has an intense scent that smells like bonfire smoke.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the sky blue flesh is slimy, and the blood red sap is thin.
