Bronzefern

This enormous tree grows up to 114 meters (374.0 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 611 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, crooked trunk covered in thin, cracked, light brown bark, and inside, the soft wood is white with black speckles.

The small handful of branches are very long and slender and are covered with very large amounts of soft, large, long, narrow leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are yellow-green with red tips.

In late summer it forms giant, bronze, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with grassy ground between them.
