Silvervine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 342 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.
It has a thick, wonky trunk covered in hard, rough, silver bark, and inside, the light wood is copper-coloured.
The excessive amount of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with copious amounts of crispy, small, wide leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are grey with red tips.
In late summer it forms large, olive, winged seeds that float and land far away.
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between them filled with thick undergrowth.
It is suitable for making paper
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
