Golden Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainy mountain ranges.
It is massive, growing up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly sturdy.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.

It is suitable for making paper
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
