Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)This small, bronze grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are resistant.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, grey tail.
During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.
It can survive a long time without water.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
