Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in small clumps that are rigid.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, yellow puff.
During the late summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
