Coppergrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized, gray grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in small clumps that are robust and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, copper flower.
During the early winter, it produces copious amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.
It can absorb up to 18 times its own weight in water.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
