Lime Green Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in tiny clumps In marshes.
It is large, growing up to 9 inches (23 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly flimsy; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.

It can absorb up to 12 times its own weight in water.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
All parts of the moss are edible.
