Bronzevine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 273 feet (83.2 meters) and growing as high as 72 feet (21.9 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 5 years for the yellow-green and emerald stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1.6 feet (48 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The finger-like, smooth leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are solid cream or hazel, with bronze patches, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the bine produces several small sky blue flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of large berries.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
The grains are bitter, but very healthy and slightly spicy.
