Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In heathlands, and In bogs.
It is colossal, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly sturdy.
When mature, emerald shield-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
