Silvervine

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 24 feet (7.3 meters)0. It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 5 months for the cream stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are tough and woody.

The shield-shaped, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are found in slate, florescent yellow and silver varieties, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of small florescent yellow flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of small seed pods.
