Crimson Moss

This slate or crimson moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In bogs, and In moorlands.
It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely resilient.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
