Sungrass

This small, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The 7 pointed stalks grow in thick clumps that are sturdy and flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, muted green tail.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of medium-sized grains.
