Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in its stem)This average-sized, olive and light brown grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in extensive patches that are robust.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, beige spikelet.
During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
