Copper-colored

This short tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 152 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a stocky, straight trunk covered in ridged, dark brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is copper-coloured.

The numerous branches are long and slender and are covered with sparse amounts of waxy, large, wide leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid vivid purple or bronze, with slate dots.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, light grey, shelled seeds.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
