Redgrass

This small, lime or subtle red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, green tuft.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
