Magenta

This giant caudiciform grows up to 25 feet (7.6 meters) tall. The pleated stem is white, and is covered in handfuls of flexible grey spines. The straight, grey trunk can grow to as much as 25 feet (7.6 meters) in diameter at the bottom. Its purple branches trail down to the ground and start growing at the top the stem.

The handfuls of smooth-edged, wispy leaves are solid magenta with gold patches. They are hardy, and take little effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, several flowers with each petal a slightly different shade of azure grow at the top, reappearing after 5 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a heart with 32 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has a faint scent that smells like mango.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the copper flesh is smooth, and the sky blue sap is thin.
